How can one be a member of OWWA?

The OWWA is a membership institution.  For a MOP210.00 membership contribution, an OWWA member is entitled to various benefits and services.

You can be a member by:

  1. Enrollment upon processing of contract at the POEA
  2. Voluntary registration of a would-be member at job sites overseas


OWWA membership, either through the compulsory or voluntary coverages, shall be effective upon payment of membership contribution up until expiration of the employment contract.  The member is covered for a maximum of two years after which the membership has to be renewed.

OWWA Requirements (Walk-in only, No need for an appointment)

1. Valid English contract (for new membership/change employer)

2. Macau ID number of employer for household service workers

3. Business registration/License number for company/other categories

4. Passport

5. Blue card/Blue card receipt
